Application Review and Scholarship Awarding Resumed
We are happy to confirm that on Monday, March 23, Empower Illinois resumed application review and scholarship awarding as normal. We recognize families may still be facing some roadblocks due to COVID-19. Therefore, we have also extended the acceptance deadline for anyone with an open Conditional Award to May 1, 2020, to accommodate families who may have limited access to a computer during this time.

School Calendar
With schools in Chicago closed until at least April 20, we have decided to forgo the Spring Quarter Attendance Verification. If and when schools are fully back in session, we will reevaluate the Attendance Verification window.
